Maharashtra Flood Relief 2025
From Floods to Hope: Helping 1000+ families across 30+ flood affected villages

For the past few weeks, heavy rainfall in Solapur and regions of Marathwada has led to severe flooding. Thousands have lost their homes, daily essentials, livestock, and means of livelihood.
Entire villages like Hattur were plunged into darkness and isolation, with no power, food, or access to communication.
Cut off by flooded roads and without electricity or drinking water, the situation has quickly escalated into a full-blown humanitarian crisis.
Our Mission
We aim to support over 1000 flood-affected families across 30 villages in Solapur and Dharashiv districts.
We’re preparing to distribute 1500+ Relief Kits. Each kit includes food grains, sanitary supplies, medicines, educational material, and bedding. These kits are procured and distributed through local volunteers and partner organizations of Jnana Prabodhini.
How You Can Help?
Your financial support will directly impact a family in distress. 100% of your donation goes toward purchasing and delivering essential relief supplies to the affected areas. Our dedicated volunteers on the field are surveying needs, coordinating logistics, and distributing aid. They need your help to keep going. Your contribution empowers these grassroots teams to reach more families faster, with dignity and care.
A small donation of $20 can support a relief kit for one affected individual
